Puppetpalooza!
Puppets of every kind took over Santa Barbara for the 1st Annual SB International PuppetPalooza, from March 1 - 4, 2018. This was a four-day family focused festival with puppeteers and artists from across the globe. I got to pop up at the opening party alongside the delicious artisan bread company called 3 Flies on a Knife. This was fun to be a part of an event that gave back to the community and offered free quality entertainment.
Women's March in Santa Barbara
The famous duo of Dart Coffee and Welcome collaborated once again for a very important day: The Women's March. Together we raised over $1000 to donate to Planned Parenthood by selling donation based coffee and pussy hats, It felt great to contribute in that way for the cause.
Echo Park Craft Fair
The Echo Park Craft Fair happens twice a year, shutting down a whole block to bring in food vendors and talented artisans. Welcome collaborated with the amazing Honey Hi and Canyon Coffee to bring delicious healthy bowls and coffee. Some of the highlights were the girls from Yo Tambien , serving up arepas, and Lori Stern, a private chef serving up her beautiful flower imbedded sugar cookies.
Homespun!
Welcome and Dart Coffee had another successful collaboration at the annual Homespun event at the Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm. It's my favorite event to do, bringing so many talented artisans together in a beautiful greenhouse.
Westland Fundraiser
The Westland Fair was a beautiful market fundraiser for their elementary school in Brentwood. There were all sorts of talented artisans and creatives there, along with delicious coffee with Canyon! We were also working alongside our very talented friends Monroe of Made By Mo Goods and and Erin of EMK Ceramics
Coffee for Leaders of the World
There were big names at a retreat for some major players in Ojai. Present were executives and CEO's from Google, Amazon, hackers!, pop culture figures, military leaders, etc. I will say though... we were probably the most popular ones there, providing the liquid energy and good vibes.
Wedding for Mr. Pickles
My friends Brad and Lynee had a gorgeous wedding at the Hearthstone Ranch. Brad is a man-about-town and knows everyone. He had all of the local caterers and artisans there who happen to be his friends. It pays to be friends with rad people.
Mercado Sagrado 2017
The Annual Mercado Sagrado with Canyon Coffee! Mercado Sagrado is a two-day event in the hills of Malibu Canyon. There are workshops, lectures, and activities intended to inspire grounding, creativity, self work, and community. Workshops include everything from learning how to grow your own food, read tarot cards, tie dye with indigo, and activities like sound baths, breath work and meditation, and a kava ceremony...and damn good coffee!
Wylder and Welcome in Ojai
I collaborated with the wonderful sisters of Wylder. They are spreading the importance of good gut health with their probiotic coffee. It also tastes delicious!
